316L is known as surgical stainless steel, the steel used for medical instruments and first piercings. It is very stable: it does not rust, does not oxidize and leaves no green mark on your skin. That is what makes our pieces waterproof jewellery you can wear from the shower to the beach.

The gold finish is 18k gold applied over the steel (PVD), for a warm gold tone that lasts. Prefer white metal? Most of our designs also come in silver-tone.

Can I shower with stainless steel jewelry?

Yes. 316L steel is not affected by water or sweat. To keep the gold shine longer, simply avoid direct contact with perfume, chlorine and cleaning products.

Does it tarnish?

No. Stainless steel does not oxidize like brass or copper: it is tarnish free jewelry that will not turn your skin green. A soft cloth is all it needs.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
